Why buy an annual park pass?
With an annual pass you may explore and enjoy our regional parks as often as you'd like for a single fee. The annual park pass allows you to visit a regional park without paying an entry fee. Downs ParkFort Smallwood ParkKinder Farm Park and Quiet Waters Park.

How to Purchase

Who may purchase an annual park pass?
Anyone can purchase an Annual Permit. You can also give the permit as a gift to allow others to enjoy and appreciate our wonderful parks.  
 
How does an annual park pass work and how do I get one?
The annual park pass is effective from January 1 through December 31. If you purchase a pass before January, the pass will be effective immediately. You may purchase an annual park pass in person at one of the regional park's gate house. You can also purchase an annual park pass ahead of time online at Visit YourPassNow.com
 
Purchase the annual park pass at one of the following parks: Downs Park, Fort Smallwood Park, Kinder Farm Park or Quiet Waters Park.


Are senior permits available?
Persons age 60 and over may obtain a Lifetime Senior Citizen Permit which is a card that must be shown along with valid ID to gain vehicle entry. A lifetime senior permit cost $40.00 per person.

Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks Annual Vehicle Entry Permit (annual park pass) cost:

Annual Vehicle Entry Permit Fee (Park Pass)
Anne Arundel County Resident $30.00
Non-County Resident $40.00
 
Lifetime Senior Citizen Permit Fee
Lifetime Senior Citizen Permit  $40.00
Persons age 60 and over may obtain a Lifetime Senior Citizen Permit which is a card that must be shown along with valid ID to gain vehicle entry. 

Park Permit Sticker

The annual park permit sticker must be affixed to a vehicle. The following three options for placement:

1.) Front driver's side bumper
2.) Front driver's side window
3.) Inside frame of the driver's side door
