Delinquent real and personal property taxes are subject to interest and penalty. For County taxes and fees, the interest rate is .5% per month or fraction of a month and the penalty rate is .5% per month or fraction of a month. For State taxes, the interest rate is 1% per month or fraction of a month. For City of Annapolis taxes, the interest rate is 1.5 % per month or fraction of a month. For the Town of Highland Beach taxes, the interest rate is 1% per month or fraction of a month.
The Office of Finance has provided the capability for citizens and businesses to pay their Real Estate and Personal Property taxes online using the a credit card on e-check.

Payments to the County can be made at any of our cashier locations.
Additionally, non-cash payments (checks and money orders) can be made at any time in the yellow drop boxes at these same locations.
Real Estate Tax bills, Personal Property Bills, Front Foot Assessment bills and Utility bills are mailed with a self-addressed courtesy envelop. Please use this envelope to make payments by mail and be sure to include the bottom portion of the bill in the envelope along with your check or money order.
